This Personal Licence course provides an award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH)
Licensing Law in England & Wales states that anyone who authorises the retail sale of alcohol must hold a personal licence. Those who wish to obtain a personal licence need to apply to their local authority. Applicants for a personal licence must first obtain a government approved licensing qualification such as the BIIAB Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH).
This is an online course & exam which can be completed from the comfort of your own home. Aimed at anyone who wishes to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol, specifically those who work in licensed premises or any venue or site where alcohol is sold, for drinking on or off the premises. Put simply, the candidate must pass the APLH course before applying for their Personal Licence.
Upon booking, you will be given access to our online portal, to complete the course at your own pace and at any time. Once you have completed this course, you will then schedule access to complete the exam, from the comfort of your home or workplace. All learners will be provided with an e-book, to accompany their course, and access to our bank of professional tutors, for a Q&A session.
